DFG Collaborative Research Centre “Modulatory Units in Heart Failure” prolonged
The Institute of Human Genetics takes part in the DFG Collaborative Research Centre 1002 “Modulatory Units in Heart Failure” of the University Medical Center Göttingen. In May, CRC 1002 received a positive vote by the DFG to be continued for another four years. It includes a new subproject headed by Bernd Wollnik that investigates the role of genomic instability in the development of heart failure, using rare genetic syndromes as a model for (premature) aging processes.
